This night will change everyone's life. And some of it exits. Producer J. J. Abrams, the author of the original and of very high-profile tv series Alias and Lost, this time, has prepared a special experience for the audience of the cinemas. With his horror thriller the Monster you are going to be pure adrenaline experience, with the way you are in the cinema hall must still be met. The beginning is despite this claim, very cool. In a cozy new york club is a going-away party. The actor is Rob (Michael Stahl-David), who has decided to say goodbye to the city of the so-called Big Apple and go and work in Japan. The fun is in full swing, the digital camera captures the hilarious faces of rob's friends, but then all the vigor of lightning interrupts the power outage and the sinister unidentified sound that sprawls over the city. Supply of electricity, although after a while resumes, but the relief is only temporary. While the television reporters speculated about an earthquake or other natural disaster, the nearby horizon, illuminating the massive explosion, again accompanied by a strange sound reminiscent of the wailing of some prehistoric monsters. The party vigorously ends, comes the panic. Wrong but time flies when you have no idea what are you fleeing from. Era pseudodokumentárních films, which is disguised as a record of fact, although it was a complete fiction, with the success kicked off the Blair Witch project. Followed by a whole series of rather unsuccessful shots filmed a similar technique, but nobody in this way able to implement a disaster thriller, with hundreds of extras and dozens of expensive special effects scenes. Producer J. J. Abrams already proved many times that he has the courage to break new paths, and to this in addition invited an experienced director Matt Reeves (writer and director of the film Let the right) and screenwriter Drew Goddard (co-author of the scenario and the director of the horror movie Cabin in the mountains.
