Eraserhead

David Lynch filmed this movie with breaks in the course of five years. In his feature debut, starred Jack Nance as Henry Spencer, a man living in bezejmeném industrial environment. When Henry finds out that his ex-girlfriend Mary is pregnant, he marries her and they live together in his dirty little apartment. Their baby will be born horribly disfigured and continues to scream. Mary soon with horror and disgust flees and leaves Henry at the mercy of the screaming child. An intensely visceral nightmare, eraserhead progresses in its own slow, surreal pace: Henry's world is a cancerous dreamlike scene, a place where sins manifest themselves as bizarre creatures, where there are worlds inside worlds... Lynch himself the image interprets it as a product of their own fear of fatherhood.
