Storm of the Century

The small town of Little Tall Island lying off the coast of Maine's fallen on hard times. Its inhabitants are thoroughly preparing for the massive snow storm that has to be the worst in the last hundred years. Sheriff Mike Anderson, who is trying to protect residents not only from the storm, but also from evil in the form of André. A three-part american horror story originated in 1999, when as a television miniseries, directed by Craig R. Baxley (the Diary of Ellen Rimbauer) according to the subject matter and the script by Stephen King, one of the most famous contemporary writers. The storm of the century is the first idea, which stems from the book, but King wrote specifically for a television miniseries. Although originally wanted to only write the script, eventually the story worked also as a classic novel, which came out shortly after was the three-part miniseries in the premiere listed on the screens.
