After the massacre, the archaeological team in the jungle, keeping only a few boxes with indigenous artifacts and specimens of local flora. The crates they travel from port to port and eventually end up in Chicago, forgotten in the basement of the museum of natural history. One day before the opening of the great exhibition in the dark halls and corridors begins to move anything other than visitors. Start showing up, murdering people, and the clues suggest that the killer must be endowed with unusual strength. However, when the young biologist Margo Green finds a connection between the murders, a failed amazonian expedition and a strange statue on the upcoming exhibition, begins a ruthless battle with the terrible enemy, in which all people, the closure of the museum, must fight for his life.
