Wicker Man, The

Detective Edward Malus (Nicolas Cage) gets a second chance after what he years ago failed in a car accident to save the mother with the child. His ex-girlfriend Willow asks him for help to find her missing daughter Rowan. A detective embarks on a small island in the Pacific, where Willow and Rowan lived in a small community. The follow the old pagan customs and its members deny that there would Rowan ever lived and if yes, then it is definitely dead. Edward becomes entangled in a network of ancient traditions and mystery, and the more approaching to find a little girl, the more it approaches to something what is forbidden to speak... to the ritual.
