A recon trip for the remains of a carnivorous spider soon turns into a fight for her life. Smug university professor Jonathan Mugford decides to show the group of students, the traces of the existence of a giant spider that lived on the Earth 300 million years ago. Their way by private jet, however, stops the rain of meteors and they all suddenly find themselves in the middle of a rugged forest. And what's worse – their steps lead to the place where from the depths of the cave coming up to the surface of the earth giant spiders.
