Continuation of the famous and the most successful horror movie. Six months after the incident with the videotape, there are new tracks, which prove, that in the darkness lurks a new evil. Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts) and her son Aidan (David Dorfman) after the "unpleasantness" they moved to the quiet mountain town of Asheville. Rachel works here as a journalist, and when they hit the police file the local suicide of a teenager, decides to in it to drill through - they believe that could have something to do with the mystical videotape.
