Friday the thirteenth (orig Friday the 13th) is an american horror film of the 1980, director Sean S. Cunnighama. In the movie starring Betsy Palmer, Adrienne King, Harry Crosby, and also in one of his earliest roles, Kevin Bacon. The picture follows a group of teenagers who are working on the reopening of the camp where years ago a boy drowned. Teenagers are being murdered by a mysterious killer. Friday the thirteenth is inspired by the success of Halloween, John Carpenter, and was created for just 0.5 million USD. After its introduction the slide elicited a mixed reaction from critics but instantly became a commercial hit, if only in the United states earned $ 39.7 million and thus became one of the most successful pictures of its genre in film history.
