Invasion of Astro-Monster (Kaijū Daisensō, lit. The Giant Monster War, also known as Godzilla Vs. Monster Zero) is a 1965 Japanese-American science fiction kaiju film featuring Godzilla, co-produced by Toho and UPA and distributed by Toho. The film is directed by Ishirō Honda, with special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya and stars Akira Takarada, Nick Adams, Kumi Mizuno, Akira Kubo, and Yoshio Tsuchiya, with Haruo Nakajima as Godzilla. It is the sixth film in the Godzilla franchise and Shōwa series.
The film was released in Japan on December 19, 1965 and released in the United States on May 7, 1970, on a double bill with The War of the Gargantuas.
