Young Josh (Xavier Samuel - lovemaking ) works in a shopping center. Previously, he was a lifeguard at the coast guard, but a shark tore his friend and brother of his girlfriend, Rory (Richard Brancatisano). Tina (Sharni Vinson - you're next , Patrick ), the dead man's sister, whom he loved and wanted to marry, left him after this event. Josh tries to forget everything, and in the work in the shopping center, which he does not enjoy, he does not have very good moments. Josh's current girlfriend Jaimie (Phoebe Tonkin - H2O: Just add water) comes to work, but she also steals from the shopping center and is caught by the manager and security. A policeman arrives at the mall. That turns out to be Jaime's father. At the moment when Jaime's father solves the theft of his daughter, a robbery occurs in the center, in which two robbers shoot an innocent woman. But that's not the worst part. At the same time that Jaime's father is trying to defuse the robbers, an earthquake occurs and the coast is flooded by a tsunami. Suddenly everyone finds themselves in a flooded shopping center. As it turns out, two voracious white sharks roam in the water, mercilessly hunting for survivors. Josh, who was in the garage of the center at the time of the flooding, is trying to help a young couple who are stranded here. Unfortunately, he manages to save only a woman. Meanwhile, a group of others in the main part of the building are trying to figure out how to save themselves from the shark. The situation is also complicated by the power line, which is broken in several places and threatens a large short circuit if it gets into the water. Therefore, the current boyfriend of Josh's ex-girlfriend, tiny (coincidentally, they were also in the shopping center) will try to turn off the electric current. He manages to do this, but in an attempt to get safely back to the others, he drowns. Only at the moment when one of the prisoners comes up with the idea of luring a shark to a piece of meat and thus catching it on a hook, the situation changes for the better. They manage to catch the shark and tie it to the shelves. So people can escape. Josh teams up with the rescued girl and tries to escape from the building. The caught shark is released from the hook, and Josh tries to defend him with a stun gun. After the fish is cut, one of the robbers, Doyle (Julian McMahon), blows up the caving (using an electric short circuit), which blocks the escape route. Everyone gets out of the center and is saved.
