What if every choice in life we make pre-determined? What if there are no coincidences and our destinies were already predetermined? In the middle of a harsh storm meets ten people, of which everybody guards their secret. A limo driver (John Cusack - Room 1408 [2007]), the tv star of the 80. years (Rebecca DeMornay), a cop (Ray Liotta) transporting a killer (Jake Busey - Invasion of the zombie nazis [2012], the Tracker II [2003] - Phantoms [1996]), a prostitute (Amanda Peet), the newlyweds Ginny and Lou (Clea Duvall - Ghosts of Mars [2001] and William Lee Scott) and a family in crisis (John C. McGinley, Leila Kenzleová, Bret Loehr ) found refuge in an abandoned hotel, which runs a nervous night manager (John Hawkes). However, when they begin to visitors one after another die, the relief of finding shelter quickly replaced by fear. Everyone immediately realizes that if they want to survive, must uncover the mystery that connected them.
