The Exorcist: Believer

The story of the new Exorcist begins in Haiti, where photographer Victor (Oscar-nominated Leslie Odom, Jr.) lost his pregnant wife twelve years ago due to a catastrophic earthquake. Fortunately, his newborn daughter Angela was saved, whom Victor has since taken great care of. His world is turned upside down when one day Angela doesn't return home from school. She disappeared along with her classmate Katherine in the woods outside the town, and desperate parents, police officers, soldiers, and volunteers search for them in vain. On the third day, a miracle occurs. The disoriented and exhausted girls appear on a small farm, far from where they vanished. However, the boundless joy soon gives way to growing concern. After a thorough medical examination, Angela and Katherine are declared completely healthy, but their behavior suggests they brought back more than just unpleasant memories from their experience.
