Lizzie is a 2018 American biographical horror film directed by Craig William Macneill and written by Bryce Kass. The film is based on the true story of Lizzie Borden, who was accused and acquitted of the ax-murders of her father and stepmother in Fall River, Massachusetts, in 1892. The film stars Chloë Sevigny (The Snowman [2017]), Kristen Stewart (Personal Shopper [2016]), Jay Huguley, Fiona Shaw, Jamey Sheridan, Kim Dickens, Denis O'Hare (Pyramid [2014]), and Jeff Perry.
The film will have its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 19, 2018.
