Planet of the Sharks

In the near future, glacial melting has covered ninety-eight percent of Earth's landmass. Sharks have flourished, and now dominate the planet, operating as one massive school led by a mutated alpha shark.

Cable TV Syfy with its sister company The Asylum have shark season and want to capitalize their experiences (and especially props) from a series of Sharknado (Sharknado 1 [2013], Sharknado 2 [2014] Shark tornado 3 [2015], Sharknado 4 [​​2016]) in the new horror film Planet of the Sharks about the near future, where thanks to the shifting of tectonic plates disappear most of the earth's surface and 98% of the country is under water. This situation allows an unprecedented extension of sharks as a natural predator. Sharks have flourished and now dominate the planet, operating as one massive school led by a mutated alpha shark.
