Fourth Kind, The

In 1972 was established the scale of investigation of cases with suspected involvement of extraterrestrial intelligence. Sighting a UFO is identified as the first type of meeting, gathering evidence means the second stage, the contact with extraterrestrials is a kind of the third. Last, the fourth type of meeting, denotes the kidnapping. Documentation of the third and the fourth type of meeting did not exist. Until recently. Provocative horror thriller the Fourth kind is based upon actual events in a remote town in Alaska, where since the sixties leads to the mysterious disappearance of people. This phenomenon was never satisfactorily explained. Thanks to the filming of psychological sessions with traumatized patients appeared and gathered dr. Abigail Tyler (Milla Jovovich) extremely disturbing evidence about the encounters of the fourth kind, which led to the resumption of the investigation of the mysterious disappearance. Previously unpublished archive recordings from the psychological session dr. Tyler are published also in the film. Their use makes the film the Fourth kind yet mrazivější spectacle.
