Jonathan Rivers (Michael Keaton) is a successful architect with a beautiful wife, novelist Anna (Chandra West), loving son Mike (Nicholas Elia) and another child on the way. Living happily in the moment, than into his life hits the tragedy. Anna is lost on the way to work and later is found the drowned in the river. Jonathan, mad with grief, moves and anxiously shunning all friends and the rest of the family. The mysterious scientist paranormal sciences can convince Jonathan that Anna sends signals "from the dead" using the tv screen and radio. Jonathan listens to his council and with the help of new friends Raymond Price (Ian McNeice - Zombies: D-Day is coming [2008]) and Sarah Tate (Deborah Kara Unger - Silent Hill [2006]) to attempts to establish a connection with the wife.
